Made debut in the professional world as an Executive selling SLPs (Self-Learning Programs) and TDRS (Textual Data Retrieval Systems…uh! haven't still followed how it worked) for a company called DISC (believe it went bankrupt). Floated to The Oberoi, New Delhi and sold rooms to business travelers (Front Office Manager, Rajiv Malhotra, still owes me uncountable bottles of beer for rack rate selling). After a very productive stint of about 10 months at the Oberoi, started servicing customers at STAR TV. Grew to an Assistant Manager over three years. Total years of professional existence: well almost 05.

Key responsibilities
  1. Follow-up Management and Customer Messaging through Digital OSD functionality.
  2. Reconciliation: Collection Centers, Banks, Revenues and stuff like that.
  3. Smart Cards Management: Controls, Distribution, Inventory and Requisitions.
  4. Internal Processes Management
  5. Training of Resources and Collection Agents
  6. Process Internal Compliance and Continuous Quality Enhancement of existing environment.
  7. Focal Point for the Development of Software in use by India SKY Broadcasting in India
    1. Subscriber Management System
    2. SMILE
  8. Preparation of Business Requirements and Testing Criteria for User Ended Testing.
  9. Business Development Activities
    1. Telemarketing, Data Management and Collections Exercise for Claridges Corbett Hideaway: The project grossed a revenue of 4 lacs by the end of April’98.
    2. Clinched Telemarketing Exercise Project for launch of Blossom’s Day Spa at 32nd Milestone, project yet to take off.
    3. Tele Service Exercise for RAMS, a Professional Conference Organizer: The exercise entailed a survey for the mentioned organization amongst the corporate sector in New Delhi.
